Admissions

The application deadline for the 2010-2011 school year is February 15, 2010.

There is a $75.00 non-refundable application fee, which must be submitted with a completed application form.

An interview date will be scheduled once a completed application form and fee has been received. Upon acceptance, the school requires a $1000.00 deposit to secure the place. This deposit is deducted from the year's tuition, and is non-refundable.

 

An annual activity and snack fee of $250 is charged for each child enrolled in the 10 month classes. An annual materials/snack/activity fee of $300 is charged for each child enrolled in the All Year Montessori classes. There is a one-time New Student registration Fee of $350.00 per child, and is non-refundable.

Please refer to the payment schedule for payment options. Note that regardless of which option you choose, the first payment is due on July 1st. Any payment more than 5 days past due will be assessed a late charge of $50.00. Children picked up 15 minutes after their scheduled hours will be charged a $15 late pick up fee for each 15 minutes or fraction thereof.

 

Financial Aid Program

Financial aid is an important means of promoting economic diversity within our school community. The Atlanta Montessori International School (AMIS) offers financial aid assistance through the AMIS Education Foundation with a limited number of full and partial scholarships. Financial aid applications are due on February 15, 2010 for the 2010-2011 school year.
