Camp Themes (Ages 3-6)

Week 1: Zookeepers

Welcome to our zoo! Follow in the footsteps of a zookeeper as we learn about the extraordinary animals and discover the science behind what makes them special. We will learn about herbivorous giraffes, omnivorous ostriches and more! What’s next? Locomotion! Let’s investigate how snakes slither, lemurs leap and falcons fly. Are they camouflage? We’ll create a model of a color-changing chameleon, build bug houses and make bird feeders. Live animals and insect friends will be visiting us this week too.

Week 2: Mateys & Mermaids

Ahoy There! The ocean is calling your name! Dive in with us as we sneak a peek into the world below. We will discover hidden treasures of the sea through exciting scientific activities, literature, music, arts and crafts. I bet you didn’t know you could combine science, mermaids and sailors! Don’t miss out on the exciting adventures and where they will take us this week!

Week 3: Math Mania

We will have fun using math as we engage in activities such as fraction bingo, skittles patterns, number flowers, building a DIY abacus and creating geometry 3D challenge cards.

Week 4: Under the Sea

Dip your toes in the sea, explore the depths of the ocean, make friends with a squid and cuddle an octopus…without even getting wet or jumping into the water!

Week 5: Art Rocks

Kids have fun combining music and art to create instruments, posters, artwork and creativity. This camp will inspire kids to reach beyond their imagination and create art that is unique to them. By doing so, kids feel empowered to be creative and expressive. It’s amazing to see just what kids design when given the freedom to explore and to express themselves creatively! Imaginations soar!

Week 6: STEM All Around

Campers will set out on a pretend “shopping spree” while learning to differentiate coins and recall their values. The group will be introduced to robotics and learn how to create their own robot!

Week 7: Little Naturalist

Hands-on nature based indoor/outdoor play curriculum filled with adventure and activities. Science and art concepts are introduced in a fun environment, with nature art, games, experiments and hands-on activities. We will educate the importance of exploring, respecting and protecting nature.

Week 8: Mini-Tokyo Olympics

Put your “Game Faces On” and join the fun of outside/inside sports and learning about the countries we will be representing. The Olympic Games are an exciting global event. The Olympics are not just about sports, they are also a celebration of friendship, unity and peace.
